Kyungran Kim: Curator
Jung, Sungtae's photos tell us about the dying city and the ruining downtown,
tell about death, the existential truth the city Chernobyl faces between death and
existence, the pictures of which he kept shooting while fighting against "time"
in the city perilously wandering. Therefore, his pictures show not only
individual value but sociocultural value—that is, their mixture.
